Why Partner with REBAN?

The Strategic Advantage of Physical Refinement
  • Regional Tooling Excellence: Utilizing advanced machinery found in the world’s densest manufacturing clusters, we ensure that surface textures are consistent across high-volume production batches.

  • Zero-Addition Integrity: Unlike coating processes, our physical finishes do not add thickness to the part, preserving critical tolerances and ensuring secondary assembly dimensions remain unchanged.

  • Stress Relief & Durability: Processes like controlled bead blasting can induce beneficial compressive residual stresses on the surface, improving the fatigue life of aerospace and automotive components.

  • Enhanced Aesthetic Value: We provide a bridge between industrial utility and luxury design, offering tactile surfaces that match the premium “hand-feel” required for high-end consumer electronics.

Design Guidelines for Surface Finishing (DfM)

  • Blind Hole Limits: Blasting media can become lodged in holes deeper than 3x the diameter. For complex geometries, consider designing through-holes or providing clear media-evacuation paths.

  • Grain Orientation: For brushed finishes, specify the grain direction relative to the part’s visual axis to ensure aesthetic consistency across multi-component assemblies.

  • Edge Radii: Polishing and aggressive deburring will naturally round off sharp corners. Specify minimum fillet requirements if “crisp” edges must be maintained after the finishing process.
